Help the Murrs with Insurance Etc.

Richard Murr has been diagnosed with inoperable, stage four pancreatic cancer. Despite intolerable pain and loss of energy, he has continued working at Carpet One to maintain an income and to keep his insurance coverage.

As his health continues to decline, the day has nearly arrived when he will need to stop working. Obviously, this will mean an end to his income but not to their expenses. They will actually go up. He will qualify for COBRA insurance, but the premiums will be higher than he currently pays. We hope to raise at least this amount ($470.96) in monthly donations. Richard will also continue to need medical intervention for which his portion after insurance will run in the hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

We praise God that some of his family members have agreed to help with a significant portion of their living expenses, but the need is still great and we’re his family too. The elders have approved a fund to help the Murrs with expenses as long as they need it.

When you click the button below, you will be taken to our PayPal page where you can enter the amount you want to give as well as set up recurring donations which you will be able to cancel at any time.

I’m sure that any of us, facing a terminal prognosis, would wish we could quit work and spend our final days with our loved ones and in activities which we deem most important. Besides just meeting a need, let’s consider how we can offer our brother and sister this precious gift.
