Sketchy Me

We met on Sunday at Fair Park. As we were sharing stories, it so happened that my story from earlier in the day involved people that I called “sketchy.” It was at that moment that I realized that some of our members might have fit into that profile for others who didn’t know them. They knew it. They saw my bigotry as did I as I observed the looks on their faces.
By sharing life, I discovered something I still lack in the pursuit of Christ likeness. I’m thankful to my brothers and sisters for being merciful to me and my judgmental heart. I’m thankful to God who gave us the church through which we can experience the kingdom which is among us.
